We are a small Georgian House & Mill Estate right in the heart of Hidden Ireland, on the river Ghoul, adjacent  to the river Erkina on the upper reaches of the Nore,  a fishers paradise, with the fishing lakes at  Ballinakill and  Grantstown nearby. 

Equidistant between Dublin, Cork and Limerick, just off the Dublin Cork M8 and approx 30 minutes by car from the unique Medieval city of Kilkenny, the County Town  of Portlaoise,  Thurles the birthplace of the GAA and the historic home of the Kings in Cashel as well as being in easy reach of Fethard, Cahir, Birr etc.

Newtown House and mills offers own door luxury self catering accommodation located on the grounds within the confines of the mill together with  meeting and conference facilities in the mill itself.
